Phil Dickson
Founder/Director

Phil has over twenty five years' experience in highly successful Leadership Development, Team Building, Business Coaching; First Line Management & Professional Customer Care training.
His career started with Harper Collins, and after 11 years, he became a Director of Associated Training in 1989 – part of the Associated Marketing Group - and grew the business from a small team delivering to local clients in Yorkshire to a multimillion-pound operation (BLF) based in Nottingham, delivering to global clients in every industry sector.
A key designer of innovative Management, Leadership and Team Development programmes, Phil frequently underpins strategic solutions with in-depth research & interactive, blended learning techniques, which reflect the core objectives and commercial imperatives.
The key courses Phil is regularly commissioned to design and deliver include: - Leadership & Management (including ILM Award Level 3); Team Development Programmes; Commercial skills; Negotiation skills; First Line Manager; Professional Customer Care; Train the Trainer; Dealing with Difficult Situations & Business Coaching.
Phil designs & delivers innovative, strategic programmes to national and international clients such as Unilever, Allianz, Airbus, BOC, the Met Office, Skanska, Allianz, the NHS & Claranet.
In May 2018 he bought out his BCF Group co-Director (but retains a business partnership relationship) and rebranded the business - Dickson Training Ltd - then moved the company to Yorkshire.
He reads history and is a published composer of music for the piano.
Julia Belle
Lead Trainer/Coach

Julia is a broadcaster, political commentator, corporate event host and business trainer. She has been covering news, current affairs and entertainment for BBC Three for three years and before this she featured weekly on BBC 5 Live - discussing the newspaper headlines and the latest breaking news.
She hosted a BBC election show, diving into key voter topics, as well as a TED Talk titled "The Secret to Being Right" which was instantly selected amongst TED's "Editor's Picks."
She has interviewed some of the most influential figures in politics and business, on a range of topics from general elections to generative AI.
Alongside broadcasting, Julia is a business and media trainer, working with clients such as The Met Office, South Eastern Rail, Claranet, & Allianz to train teams from entry-level to C-suite on leadership, team building, and communication. Within her media training, she offers a wealth of expertise including crisis management, perfecting press releases, interview training, presentation skills, podcasting, tone and body language.
Finally, Julia is a prolific corporate event host, moderating panel discussions, hosting networking dinners, and interviewing world-renowned business leaders across all industries and sectors. Her interviewees have included executives from the FBI, NASA, H&M, Adobe, Microsoft, Deloitte, IBM, Secureworks and hundreds of others.
Chris Wilson
Lead Trainer/Coach

Chris is a Customer Success and Operations Leader with over 20 years global experience in Managed Services, IT Operations, and Business Leadership. During this time, he has worked in Asia, Central Europe, Northern Europe, and the UK, consistently delivering growth-enabling customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and service revenues across diverse industries. He is adept at leading & training cross-functional and cross-regional teams, managing complex projects, and delivering measurable outcomes.
During his time in Malaysia, Chris led an offshore organisation of over 1,000 staff, delivering IT Services to one of the World’s largest Oil & Gas Companies. His focus on staff growth and satisfaction resulted in employee satisfaction improving by over 40 points during his first 18 months. In addition, he played a key part in redefining processes which saw a substantial reduction in major IT issues.
In his role in Hungary, Chris led a near shore organisation of 4,500 people, delivering multiple IT & Business Services to many global including Deutsche Telekom and DPDHL. The organisation made a considerable contribution to improved customer satisfaction through a bespoke Training programme and a constant focus on improved process & quality in delivery.
In a break from his life in IT, Chris joined a Danish Robotics Company as Global Service Lead and was part of the management board which increased revenues from 170m to 300m Euros in a three year period.
Before Joining the Dickson Training team, (who Chris regularly commissioned training in T-Systems, Universal Robots & Claranet) he led & trained the Customer Success team of a Cloud/Cybersecurity/Network UK business to ensure customer satisfaction, safeguarding revenue & profit. Once again, Chris’s leadership & training ensured his team improved customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction year-on-year.
Chris has delivered Training programmes to – S E Trains; Codeclan, PPG & the NHS.
When not working, Chris can be found exploring the UK with his wife and dog in their motorhome or walking the South West Coast Path (130 out of 530 miles completed so far).
Jenny Morgan
Trainer/Facilitator/Real Play Actor

Jenny is highly experienced communications skills facilitator/trainer, and accomplished actor & writer.
She has worked extensively on stage touring her critically acclaimed one woman show around the UK, Edinburgh fringe and to Australia. She was an affiliated artist with The Lowry Theatre on their development scheme in 2019 and her script writing was shortlisted for the BBC comedy cohort 2023. She has also made TV appearances in Casualty 1909, Outings and Hollyoaks, as well as numerous short films.
Alongside performing, Jenny is an experienced trainer, communication skills actor and facilitator.
Working with clients in a range of industries from Zurich Insurance, Endsleigh Insurance, Costa Coffee, Nationwide, Jaguar LR, East Midland Trains, Southern Rail and across public sector services within the NHS.
She has trained teams in customer service, empathy skills, leadership development and coaching.
Among her many talents, Jenny excels as one of our REAL PLAY actors on our innovative practical training techniques.
Jenny co-delivered many of Dickson Training’s programmes since 2018, including S E Trans; ArtFund; CoreRFID & NHS Wales.
Harvey Wheaton
Trainer & Business Coach

An Oxford Graduate and a highly experienced Agile business leader with 30 years’ experience in in a wide variety of industries. An energetic, results-focused and collaborative style and track record of strategic thinking and operational delivery in a range of complex, fast paced environments.
He trained & led a very successful IT Team at Goldman Sachs from which he commissioned Phil Dickson to support his development programmes.
Harvey is a very highly qualified Trainer and Executive coach, having designed and delivered very complex Programmes within his career and as a Trainer/Coach. These include First Line Management and ILM Award Level 3 Leadership & Management courses.
His glittering career informs his ability to design and deliver very effective courses and provide practical support as an Executive Coach.
He is an Agile Consultant and Coach having worked with a wide variety of clients, This included a significant transformation programme at a large financial institution (Bloomberg), major games studios around the world (e.g. Rovio, Microsoft, Ubisoft), advising start-up companies and working with Kingston and Falmouth universities to define and support their digital skills curriculum.
Prior to joining Dickson Training he was. CEO of CodeClan, which was established with support from the Scottish Government to create opportunities for career changers who might not otherwise find a route into digital jobs. In it’s first two years of operation, they trained over 250 people across 12 cohorts and placed 90% into entry-level software development jobs.
Harvey has co-delivered Leadership Programmes for many clients, including the NHS; S E Trains; Claranet & the MET Office.
Andy Dickson
Senior Adviser – Marketing and Sales

Andy is a Pensions, Investments, AI Fintech experienced professional with extensive insight, knowledge, profile and network across the UK and some international pension systems.
Having worked with Insurance Companies, DC Master Trusts, in Asset Management, AI Fintech and Consultant practices and developed and delivered marketing and sales strategies.
He has been a regular presenter at key pension and investment conferences and a respected commentator and industry spokesperson on pension policy issues and has had regular dialogue with senior pension policy makers in Government including Cabinet Ministers.
Andy travels extensively, is a very keen skier and hiker and is also the keyboard player of a very successful Scottish Rock Band - Shardlake.
Louise Worsley
Senior Training Consultant & Coach

Louise's global experience of working with clients in both the Corporate and Not for Profit sectors such as - Deutsche Bank, Sodexo, Astra Zeneca, IKEA, Kantar, Elanco Health, NHS trust, LSE, Oxford Brookes, The Carbon Trust and The Prince's Trust.
This has enabled her to be innovative and creative in supporting the development of individuals, teams and organisations that want to succeed.
Post a successful teaching career, Louise has delivered training and coaching at all organisational levels with her key area of expertise being sustainable learning in dynamic environments that are or need to change. Her intuitive, energetic and engaging manner allows clear communication with all ages and levels of seniority, to help them to set, achieve and exceed clear pre-determined goals.
Louise is a natural leader, demonstrating leadership capabilities in many challenging and pressurised environments, having lead various very successful expeditions including in South America.

Linda Chander
Business Training Consultant and Executive Coach

Linda has over 19 years experience as a facilitator and as an adult educator. She has guided many individuals and workgroups in the development of various workplace skills, and currently coaches and mentors several individuals, including senior executives, in a variety of industries.
Linda has gained her experience and skills from working in and with a range of different organisations in both the private and public sectors including Finance, Education, Banking, Professional Services, Infrastructure, Health, Telecommunications, Project Management and Construction.
She has international experience working with clients in New Zealand, Malaysia, Ireland, India and the United Kingdom.
Linda is among the preferred providers of soft skills training to many significant organisations, universities and professional services firms in Sydney and Kuala Lumpur.

Liz Dickson
Company Secretary

After graduating from Glasgow University with a Master of Arts degree in Languages (French & Italian) Liz lived & worked in Switzerland (where she learnt German) and Australia for 4 years before settling back in the UK.
She was the HR Manager for the Support teams in the Leeds Office of Price Waterhouse for 5 years and oversaw some major projects involving Appraisal systems, new technology and Inductions programmes.
Following her maternity leave she joined Coopers & Lybrand's Corporate Finance team and the HR department. Her role encompassed Graduate Recruitment and managing training projects.
Three years later Liz moved on to become a Secondary School teacher of Languages (French & German) and, after a few years of contract work, she was employed by one of her 'client' schools to be a full time Languages Teacher - regularly attaining the highest Ofsted status of - 'Outstanding'.
When Dickson Training Ltd was founded, she was appointed Company Secretary.
Liz also enjoys travel and skiing.
